We collaborated with SARVAC to develop a proactive digital solution. This system enables SARVAC to streamline disaster response, coordinate volunteers, and deploy resources efficiently using digital tools on monday.com.
Within weeks, SARVAC was equipped with a dynamic emergency response system, allowing them to react faster to crises, improve coordination across multiple teams, and optimize rescue efforts in real-time. The solution empowers SARVAC to deploy rescue teams with greater agility, ensuring faster and more effective aid for affected communities.
Cleaning Up North Carolina in the Wake of Hurricane Helene 2024
In late September 2024, Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm, struck the southeastern United States, causing catastrophic damage across Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee. In North Carolina, the hurricane led to unprecedented flooding, particularly in western regions, resulting in over 100 fatalities and widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes.
Recognizing the extensive damage caused by the hurricane, we developed a digital solution to streamline clean-up operations, facilitate resource distribution, and improve volunteer coordination. This platform enabled organizations to efficiently manage debris removal, allocate supplies, and communicate effectively with community members during the recovery phase.
Within weeks, these organizations were equipped with a robust disaster relief system. This allowed for more efficient clean-up efforts, improved coordination among multiple teams, and optimized resource allocation in real-time. The solution empowered these organizations to manage recovery operations with greater effectiveness.
