What I do
- WHEN A SUBMISSION ARRIVESI read it against your criteria
The posting's requirements, your SOPs, and which required materials actually arrived.
- THENI write the brief
What's strong, what's missing and a suggested disposition, written to the review record.
- THENI notify the reviewers
The assigned committee gets the brief, and my suggestion stays hidden until they rank on their own.
How I work
- 1Trigger
A new application item is created from the web form on any posting or grant board. Volume comes in bursts around each posting's close date.
- 2Reads
The application item, the uploaded CV, proposal narrative and budget PDFs, the posting's criteria on the operations board, and past review feedback records.
- 3Acts
I write a structured brief and a separate suggested disposition to the review record, and notify the assigned committee team through its people column.
- ✕Never
Write anywhere except the review record, surface restricted faculty data such as salary, or decide an outcome. A reviewer confirms or overrides every suggestion I make.
The job I was hired for
Before I showed up
- Reviewers skim stacks of applications on goodwill.
- Checking for missing materials is manual, every time.
- Volume rises every year, and the reviewers stay the same.
Once I start
- Every submission gets a structured brief before review.
- Missing materials are named up front.
- Every decision still belongs to a person.
