What I do
- WHEN A DEAL HITS PROCUREMENTI read the redline
Clause by clause, against your standard NDA or MSA.
- THENI sort every change
Business call, or legal question. I open the ticket and tag each one.
- THENI route it
Business calls go to your team, answered in hours. Counsel gets only legal questions, with business already decided.
How I work
- 1Trigger
A deal moves to Procurement on the Deals board, someone mentions me on that deal or a Legal ticket, or Make tells me a new legal email arrived.
- 2Reads
The deal's emails and activities timeline, newest first, the redlined NDA or MSA, the deal's stage, AE and value, and the Legal Ticket System, including decisions answered before.
- 3Acts
I categorize each request, open or reuse its ticket, route it to Internal Review or counsel, post decisions as subitems, set priority by deal value and draft the counsel email.
- ✕Never
Send email, sign or approve a contract, or set Legal Status to Send to KJK. Our legal lead reads every draft and is the only one who sets that status.
The job I was hired for
Before I showed up
- Every redline goes to outside counsel, even net 45 vs net 30.
- Counsel sends business questions back. The deal waits.
- At CarbonWeb, about 22 deals worth $67K+ once sat in Procurement.
Now that I’m here
- Business calls answered by your team in hours.
- Your legal spend goes only to legal work.
- Every decision I file makes the next redline faster.
