What I do
- WHEN A REP FORWARDS AN ENQUIRYI read the whole thread
Customer, product interest, volume, location and whether they're buying or selling.
- THENI build the lead
A lead record on the right pipeline, matched to the existing account, with an urgent flag if it's live.
- THENI hand it to a person
No account match? I flag it. A human qualifies every lead before it moves on.
How I work
- 1Trigger
A rep forwards an enquiry to the watched mailbox or applies the intake label. I don't watch the whole inbox, so an email nobody forwards is never captured.
- 2Reads
The full email thread, existing accounts and contacts, the products and services board that defines the trade types, and prior leads for tone and format.
- 3Acts
I create a lead on the correct pipeline, fill customer, product, volume, location and direction, link the account or flag no match, and set the urgent flag.
- ✕Never
Add a new account or contact record, write to a customer, or push a lead into a deal stage. Your sales users qualify every record I create.
The job I was hired for
Before I showed up
- Enquiries sit in inboxes until someone has time to retype them.
- Good opportunities go cold before reaching the pipeline.
- Retyping threads pulls the team away from selling.
Once I start
- A forward or a label is all it takes.
- Each lead arrives with the details already filled in.
- People still qualify every lead.
